Co-hosted with the Wattis Institute and the Further Triennial.

A private tour of the Suzanne Jackson: What is Love exhibition with Jenny Gheith, Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture and WtW ‘18 curator. The program highlights Jackson’s influential contributions across painting, performance, and installation, and will be followed by our annual holiday celebration and member meeting.

Private tour of The Imaginative Landscape led by Lauren Schell Dickens, Senior Curator at SJMA.   SJMA’s new Oshman Executive Director & CEO, Jeremiah Matthew Davis, will welcome us before the tour.  The exhibition highlights Pao Houa Her's evocative photographic practice exploring Hmong identity, memory, and place.

Private tour of Ancient Wisdom for a Future Ecology: Trees, Time, and Technology led by artist Tiffany Shlain and curator Twyla Ruby. Expanding on the original exhibition, di Rosa will present several new and related works including Shlain’s Dendrofemonology: A Feminist History Tree Ring, on view for the first time in San Francisco after activations on the National Mall in DC, Madison Square Park NY as well as a new version of Ken Goldberg’s video art installation Bloom, which uses live seismic data from the San Andreas fault.

The program includes a visit to the private art collection of Wanda Kownacki and a guided tour of the exhibition, When the World is Beautifully Strange, at Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga.
